There is a very strange space up at the field now with no bus to work on. Luckily for us the Royal Cornwall Show was on and as Louise and I had won tickets from Outset Cornwall we set forth to network. Here are some of our best bits... Jamie particularly enjoyed networking with the caged birds. The Alpacas were particularly interested in Busfayre and the bonsai trees couldn't get enough of us.
Once we had finished our version of "Where's Wally" spending a considerable amount of time looking for each other we did actually get down to some real networking. I would like to state that "meet us at the icecream van" is not the best idea as there are hundreds of them..
These are the lovely people at the Cornish pork pantry. They sell delicious pork products from their own pigs. They are regularly at the St Ives farmers market in the Guildhall on a Thursday. We tried out their bacon and bacon Thai rissoles - delicious!!!
Today we have been sorting out the seat clips out on the deck and in the sun. We were fortunate enough to have a supermodel from Hawaii in our midst sporting the latest in sun hats. (This is a cryptic pun, but judging by the blog competition I doubt any of you will get it!!!)
Well tomorrow is the BIG day well the BIG BIG BIG day as we find out what work needs doing on the bus for her to pass her all important MOT. Scary stuff but fingers crossed she will be ok. To take our minds off it here are some cute pictures of the ducklings and Skampy pretending to be a duckling by putting a ball in his mouth.
I am Sharon Close, I have worked for years in Music Education and this is still something that I am passionate about. I live in the most amazing county of Cornwall and am so excited to be launching a brand new business that is a mobile catering company based on a double decker bus. My partners are Louise Walker, Jamie Walker, Jill Clark and Richard Close.
