Despite our good intentions our work on the bus was rained off on Sunday.... and the small issue of Christmas looming isn't helping too much... However we have still been busy. Louise has been in contact with a Double Decker Bus Cafe on the Isle of Wight - find them on Facebook - Tansy's Pantry.
They were able to give us some very good advice, and this will hopefully prevent us making some of the mistakes they made in their first year of trading. Lovely people.
As you may have noticed we did buy our second bus from a quirky little second hand shop in Newlyn. Not the sort of bus you can drive around in, but it will have pride of place on our counter.
We have been looking at special diets and considering gluten free and vegetarian and vegan options for the menu. Any suggestions or fabulous recipes from people with particular dietary requirements would be very welcome. Please comment here or on our Facebook page. I have been looking at two excellent websites : www.pinchofyum.com and www.deliciouslyella.com . Loads of great ideas some veggie and gluten free and others just simple imaginative food.
Currently discussing our events for next year and we will be sorting our calendar out for 2015-2016 - check out our Calendar page next month for full details...
